  1. What tree work services do you provide?
B & R Tree Service offers tree removal (residential, commercial, municipal, and management properties), pruning, care for ornamental tree/plant collections, stump grinding, root feeding, landscape design, and arborist care.
  2. How do I schedule a consultation with B & R Tree Service?
We offer online scheduling through our website. You are also welcome to call us at (508) 248-9100 or email us at brtreescheduling@brtreeservicema.com.
  3. What should I expect at the consultation?
A member of our team will visit your property to evaluate the health of your trees, plantings, and landscape as a whole. We will walk you through our process, get a sense of your vision for your property, and answer any questions you may have. We will then draft a detailed proposal for you to include the scope of work that aligns with your needs, your vision, and the health of your property as a whole. If you won’t be on site when we visit to complete the consultation, we ask that you please mark your tree(s) with ribbon, spray paint, or another identifier so we can ensure we’re reviewing the same work you’re looking to have done.
  4. What do I need to do to prepare my property for tree service?
In order to prepare for tree service we ask that you please do the following: 1. Have any vehicles either parked in your garage or out of the driveway and at least 100 feet from the edge of the driveway. This allows us the room we require to maneuver our equipment around the street in front of your property and to be sure we have proper access when the equipment arrives at your jobsite. 2. Please be sure your grass is recently cut. 3. Please be sure any pets are not outside while we are working and that pet waste is picked up before B & R’s arrival.
  5. Why should I consider B & R Tree service?
What separates B & R Tree Service from others in the industry are our people, our equipment, and our approach.
Our People: We have over 22 years of experience and expertise, and a passion for delivering the highest quality tree removal solutions. We believe tree removal and tree pruning is an art form. We want to make sure that you know that our goal is to deliver you a personal experience where no detail is forgotten and you’re left smiling at the end of the day.
  6. Is B & R Tree Service insured?
Yes, we are fully insured and can provide you with authentic insurance certificates upon scheduling your work.
  7. How old is B & R Tree Service’s equipment?
The value of the equipment is unparalleled to others in the industry, and the age cannot be compared to that of a standard vehicle. All equipment is certified by manufacturer authorized service centers. We only use the highest caliber and most innovative equipment for all of our jobs. This ensures the highest quality of safety and precision in our work which in turn provides the best situation for your project and that your landscape is left in a clean and well groomed condition.
  8. Is the B & R staff certified? How is the staff trained?
Our team consists of certified climbers and arborists with over 100 combined years of experience and expertise in tree services. We are up to date on certifications, and we offer continued education through training seminars. We provide a constant learning environment where we can collaborate and teach one another.
  9. How much does it cost to remove a felled tree?
The cost varies upon several factors related to the scope of work and your property, including difficulty of tree access, what equipment will be needed, and the location of your trees in relation to pools, septic tanks, wells, and utility wires. Our tree experts can guide you through the process and explain the role that each of these factors plays.
  10. How can you tell if a tree is dead or diseased?
A key indicator is if there are any leaves on the branches. Leaves missing from half of the tree can also be a sign of decay and will likely impact the health and life of the tree overall.
  11. What are the benefits of pruning services?
Pruning involves removing plant parts to encourage the growth of foliage and leaves, improve the overall health and value of the plant, and allow it to become heartier, healthier, and fuller in the future.
  12. Is stump grinding worth it?
After tree removal, more often than not, you are left with unsightly, and sometimes unsafe, tree stumps. B & R Tree Services can provide expert care in stump grinding to leave your property as you had envisioned it. Our certified tree arborists can quickly and professionally grind and remove left behind tree stumps. We have the experience to tackle the most difficult stumps, in any location.
  13. My trees are hard to reach. How will you access them?
Trees with more difficult access are usually removed via crane. We provide the proper equipment to remove trees of any size, such as a certified aerial bucket truck to access tree canopies, a chip truck to hold wood chips from discarded wood (which we will haul away or leave for you to use as mulch), and a log truck for removal of large wood.
  14. I have an emergency and need my tree removed ASAP. How fast can you get it removed?
Please call us for emergencies, and we will accommodate you the best we can. Many times we are able to get to an emergency job the same day, depending on the emergency. If we feel we cannot get the whole job done the same day, many times we can get there to remove the hazardous part(s) of the tree(s) and come back to remove the remainder.
  15. A tree fell on my house. Will you work with my insurance company for removal and payment?
Yes, we are experienced working with insurance companies for fallen trees and limbs, especially after storms. We will get the proposal to you, and you will forward it to your adjuster and/or agent. We will gather the information from you to help work with the insurance, such as the insurance company’s name, your agent’s name and contact information, and your claim number.
  16. My landscapers can care for my trees. Why should I consider B & R’s services?
Our team of select experts are some of the most qualified in the area. They come with years of expertise and experience, as well as the desire and passion for helping create the perfect landscape. Just as we leave your landscape in perfect condition, we educate our consumers on how to best maintain their trees and plants. We take the time to educate each of our clients specifically for their personalized needs.
  17. I’m in the process of purchasing a home. Can you do the tree removal on the land?
We can provide an estimate for you once you’ve purchased the property, or if you are the primary decision maker in the home that is under contract.
  18. I’m having other work done in my yard. Can you coordinate with my other contractors?
We do our best to accommodate all your needs and develop a proposal that aligns with that for you. If that includes coordinating schedules with other contractors, we’re happy to provide you with our availability so you can work with other contractors’ schedules as well. We do, however, ask to be the only contractors on site while we are performing the work. If you’re having other contractors doing projects around the same time as tree service is being completed, please mention this to our office upon scheduling the estimate so we can notify our sales team and they can discuss with you during your complimentary consultation. We may recommend having certain contractors perform their work prior to us or after us, depending on what is being done.
  19. Can my tree be transplanted to another spot on my property?
We don’t currently offer tree transplanting but recommend that you hire someone with a tree spade, as this is the proper tool to be using for transplanting your trees.
