Yes, we have plenty of experience working with insurance companies for fallen trees and limbs, especially after storms. We will get the proposal to you and you will forward it to your adjuster and/or agent. We will gather the information from you to help work with the insurance such as the insurance companies name, your agents name, their contact information, and your claim number.

Here at B&R Tree Service we do our best to accommodate all your needs, and we develop a proposal that aligns with that for you. If that includes coordinating schedules with other contractors, we're happy to provide you with our availability so you can work with other contractors schedules as well. We do however ask to be the only contractors on site while we are performing the work. If you're having other contractors doing projects arond the same time as tree service is being completed please mention this to our office upon scheduling the estimate so we can notify our sales team and they can discuss with you during your complimentary consultation. We may recommend having certain contractors perform their work prior to us or after us depending on what is being done.

Trees with more difficult access are usually removed via crane. We provide the proper equipment to remove trees of any size, such as a certified aerial bucket truck to access tree canopies, a chip truck to hold wood chips from discarded wood (which we will haul away or leave for you to use as mulch) a log truck for removal of large wood, and a crane for jobs that require a hard to reach tree.

A member of our team will visit your property to evaluate the health of your trees, plantings, and landscape as a whole. We will walk you through our process, get a sense of your vision for your property, and answer any questions you may have. We will then draft a detailed proposal for you to include the scope of work that aligns with your needs, your vision, and the health of your property as a whole. If you won't be on site when we visit to complete the consultation we ask that you please mark your tree(s) with ribbon, spray paint, or another identifier so we can ensure we're reviewing the same work you're looking to have done.

Our certified tree arborists can quickly and professionally grind and remove left behind tree stumps. We have the experience to tackle the most difficult stumps, in any location. We only do stump grinding for trees we have removed, or if we are performing other work on the property - we don't offer stump grinding as a stand alone service.

After tree removal, more often than not, you are left with unsightly, and sometimes unsafe, tree stumps. This is the unfortunate aftermath of amateur tree removal. B&R Tree Services can come in and provide expert care in stump grinding to leave your property as you had envisioned it

Trees have the power to increase property values, improve air quality, reduce household energy costs, improve water quality and more according to the Unites States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service. When trees are present in our everyday landscape it’s easy to forget just how significant they are to all of our lives. Trees of the right variety placed properly and cared for professionally provide enormous benefits and have significant economic, environmental and societal value. Well-landscaped property can increase your homes value anywhere between 4.4% - 28%.

While emergency deadwooding can happen anytime, the ideal window for structural pruning is during the late winter or early spring while trees are still dormant. This timing minimizes stress on the tree and prevents the spread of certain diseases that are active in warmer months.

Yes, you should always verify that your contractor carries both General Liability and Workers’ Compensation insurance. Because tree work is high-risk, this coverage protects you from being held financially liable for property damage or injuries that occur on your job site.

Look for "red flag" symptoms such as deep cracks in the trunk, fungal growth at the base, or large hanging limbs in the canopy. If you notice a sudden lean or significant root heaving after a storm, you should contact an arborist immediately for a safety assessment.

We don't currently offer tree transplanting, but recommend that you hire someone with a tree spade as this is the proper tool to be using for transplanting your trees.

In order to prepare for tree service we ask that you please do the following:

  1. Please have any vehicles either fully parked in your garage if you have one, or parked out of the driveway and at least 100 feet from the edge of the driveway. This allows us the room we require to maneuver our equipment around the street in front of your property and to be sure we have proper access when the equipment arrives to your jobsite.
  2. Please be sure your grass is recently cut, this is helpful as our crew is working on the property to not be working in overgrown grass.
  3. Please be sure any pets are not outside while we are working, and have any dog or pet waste picked up before we arrive as well.

Pruning essentially involves removing plant parts to encourage the growth of foliage/leaves, improve the overall health and value of the plant, and allows it to become heartier, healthier, and fuller in the future. There are various types of pruning for different goals for your property - there's directional runing, spiral pruning, and more. Some clients goals are to prune away from their roof to avoid squirrels getting onto the roof, another goal for some clients is to improve the health and foliage of the tree or plant, some clients want to prune according to their landscape and architecture of their home to increase sunlight into certain rooms of the home, etc.
